Common questions first. If yours isn’t here, write to us.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your checks and answers are stored under your account, so they stay with you when you change or lose your phone. You only need an email address and a password.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We’ll send a reset link to your email address. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
How do I export my data?
In the app, open Settings and choose Export data. You’ll get a JSON file with all your checks and answers, which you can save to Files or send anywhere.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. This removes your account, checks, answers, and shared posters. It can’t be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
Notifications aren’t arriving.
Most of the time this is an iOS setting. Check these in order:
- Open iOS Settings → Notifications → ObserMe and make sure Allow Notifications is on.
- Under the same screen, make sure Lock Screen and Banners are enabled.
- If you use a Focus mode, add ObserMe to its allowed apps, or check at the times you expect a question.
- If Scheduled Summary is on, ObserMe may be held back until the next summary. Set it to deliver immediately.
- In ObserMe, check that the check is active and its time or random window is what you expect.
Still nothing? Write to us with your iOS version and the check that’s missing.
What’s the difference between a set time and random?
A set-time check asks at the same moment every day, like a habit reminder. A random check asks a few times a day at unpredictable moments within hours you choose, so you capture how things are rather than how you planned them. Both live in the same list.
Where is my data stored?
On ObserMe’s servers, under your own account. There are no ads and no analytics. The privacy policy explains it in full.
